Christmas Gift-Buying Kit for Kids & Teens

Christmas Gift-Buying Kit

So that kids and teens can purchase gifts for their friends and family using their own money.

You have this vision of your kids and teens buying one another a gift at Christmas time with their own money.

You’ve got your reasons for why, like…

  • To help your kids embody a giving spirit around the holidays
  • To add to your family’s holiday experience
  • To bring your kids closer to one another

And, let’s be honest: you secretly hope it’ll also help your child learn how to budget their money.

But every time you think about doing this, it’s two weeks before Christmas and there’s no time to a): get your child onboard, or b): save up enough money to make it happen.

So, another year goes by.

This year is going to be different (and yes, the money lessons are coming, too).

Imagine your kids and teens:

  • Learning to save their money over weeks and months.
  • Going on an organized, focused shopping trip with a budget for Christmas.
  • Feeling pride when they exchange gifts they paid for with their own money.

That's why I created the Christmas Gift-Buying Kit for Kids and Teens.

Note: This is a digital product. You'll be given a link to download to enjoy immediately after purchase! Worksheets need to be printed out for you to use.

After the Christmas Gift-Buying Kit, your child will:

  • Know how to set a savings goal in a way that gives them plenty of time to reach it
  • Be able to create a Savings Plan for any savings goal they have
  • Get some savvy shopping skills to make the most of their money now and when they're living on their own

What's Included:

  1. Create a gift-buying list of people
  2. Calculate an estimated savings goal amount
  3. Create a Savings Plan to save that amount
  4. Track their savings over the coming weeks and months
  5. Prepare for their Christmas Shopping Trip
  6. Track how what they actually spent on the Christmas Shopping Trip

FAQs

1. Am I going to get stuff in the mail?

No. This is a digital product that you print out. You'll need to print out the worksheets for your kids & teens to work through.

2. Approximately how long will my child need to start this savings process before Christmas time?

While you can start this at anytime (except, of course, like about a week out from Christmas), I think the best time for them to start it and be successful is at least 2 months out from Christmas.

Whether or not they'll need more time than that is up to:

  • How many people they want to buy for (more people = more money)
  • How much allowance/chore commissions/job money they have at their disposal to use

If you find yourself closer to Christmas than you'd like, then you can still work through this and just cut down on the number of people they're allowed to buy presents for.

3. Do we need to buy anything else to use this product?

No further products are needed to use this product. You'll just need to print out the worksheets.

4. What do I get again?

  • 17 pages of printables guiding your child through the Christmas Gift-Buying Process
  • Savings Plan Calculation set of worksheets
  • Saving and Spending Tracker worksheets
  • Bonus set of 6 Christmas-themed cash money envelopes in fun designs
