Each one is easily prepped and will keep your kids happily entertained (so you can watch those funny commercials – that’s what I like about the Super Bowl, anyway).

Super Bowl Games for Kids

For just a few bucks, you can set up some serious fun activities with these Super Bowl games for kids.

Not to mention, almost guarantee you and your adult guests get to enjoy the game more.

1. Tabletop Straw Football

Supplies needed: one straw for each player, a small toy football, masking tape two end zones

Ready, set, go!

Give each player a straw, and put two toy footballs in the middle of the field.

When someone says “go”, the players must do their best to blow air through their straws to get their toy football into the end zone.

Whoever scores a touchdown first, wins.

2. Catapult Tabletop Touchdowns

Supplies needed: two football containers (the end zones), one small football, and a homemade catapult (big popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and an empty bottle cap)

Make two teams (it could just be two people, or several kids on each team if you’ve got a crowd).

Each team gets a turn trying to make a touchdown using the small football and the catapult. The endzone is a football snack container (or any other container will work).

First team to 10 points, wins!

3. Wobbly Bowling Pins

Supplies needed: 10 clothespins, masking tape, and a small football

Footballs are wobbly when you try to roll them. Which is most of the fun behind this game!

Set up the 10 clothespins standing up, just like bowling pins (4 pins in the back row, then 3 pins, then 2 pins, and then 1 pin).

Tape off a line where everyone must remain behind while bowling.

Let kids take turns rolling the toy football down the “lane” toward the pins…and see how many they can knock over.

They can even play 10 frames, like in real bowling, with this free printable worksheet to keep score (just click to download).

4. Head Tails Coin Toss Guess

Supplies needed: one coin for each child

The coin toss is a major part of any football game, and kids usually get a kick out of being part of it.

Make it into a game for the kids to do by having them guess how many times a flipped coin will be heads, and how many times it will be tails.

They can write down their guess on a sheet of paper beforehand, then flip the coin the same number of times. Have them use a tally mark to mark each time they get a head, and each time they get a tail.

This free printable scoresheet will help.

5. Eraser Football Game

Supplies needed: a bunch of pencil erasers, and a container

How many “footballs” (pencil erasers) can your child bounce into the end zone?

You could time this for 60 seconds. OR, you could give each player 10 erasers and whoever bounces all of them into their container first, wins.

Hint: this is harder than it looks! Depending on the erasers you get, you really have to learn how to angle them correctly.

One thing I love about these? Well, now I have all the Super Bowl games for kids I'm using at our little get-together. My son and his friends are going to LOVE these!
